Chile's vital port, Valparaiso, lies two hours to the northwest of Santiago. Thousands of buildings like the ones in the picture creep out of the sea and up into the hills. It is something you really have to see to appreciate. We packed a lot into two days including a boat ride, a tour of Pablo Neruda´s home, some great meals (brains, intestines, and blood), and a long night in an incredible discoteca. We even took a chilly dip in the pacific and laid on the beach.
